A new year has begun and everything is slowly waking up from hibernation — which means it is time to announce the E13 field day 2024. Heiko (DH3IKO) has once again volunteered to organise it and act as the point of contact. Here is the official announcement.

A field day lives and breathes through its participants, and it is much more than just a contest. Everyone who has ever made a CW QSO is invited to join. Speed matters less — what counts is the joy of operating and learning. That does not mean we are not ambitious, of course. The nice thing about a CW contest is that you can practise it at home very well with Morse Runner.

Since we could not find enough participants last year due to the late announcement and the field day had to be cancelled, this year we want to put together a list of potential participants early.
